Why Should I
Be Concerned? |
|
| |
 |
|
Backflow
can be caused by mainline piping failures or unexpected
loss of supply pressure. For example, it is a
condition that can occur when the drinking water
system pressure drops below that of a system containing
unknown water quality or chemicals, |

drawing the questionable
contents into the drinking water system.
Another instance is your lawn sprinkler system.
If the water pressure suddenly drops, your drinking
water may become contaminated with bacteria, chemicals,
and poisons that can be siphoned back through
the lawn sprinkler system piping.
